This is a model I did for Witchsong Miniatures. Almost 200mm in height, the main objective was to show the statues' damage over time. I started making the statue as it might have been at the beginning and then added the damage needed to make the second pose. The idea behind the concept is that a very worn statue is bound by a powrful magic and still stands to protect the city from any danger. So I had to show the statue move AND make its parts "float" through the air. It was a very unique experience having to make parts that can be 3D printed without breaking but still give the impression of floatinng through air as well.
"Once a proud guardian statue standing tall over the ancient city it protected, war has driven the STONEWORN SENTRY to ruin...
Does that make it any less dangerous, though?
Of course not."
